• Two flute end mills are used for all end mill operations. The flute volume is more with 2 flute mills, but the feed rates are lower. The fewer number of flutes allows for better chip evacuation in grooving operations.
• Double End Mills have two cutting edges. This results in double the tool life and cost savings, compared to Single End Mills.
• Two flute double end mills are designed for slotting, keying, grooving and general purpose milling.
