Drill chuck arbors are double ended steel shafts. One end is machined to fit a machine spindle and the other fits into the back of a drill chuck.

These arbors are typically used to hold Jacobs Taper-backed drill chucks in Morse Taper spindles/sockets.
These Morse Taper arbors have a tang end.

They are not available with a drawbar end.
