More wear resistant than cobalt steel & high-speed steel, these carbide-tipped bits maintain a sharper, harder edge at high temperatures. The shank has a smaller diameter than the tip, allowing you to drill large holes with machines that have small-capacity chucks.

135 Degree Split Point Tip

Cobalt Drill Bits have a 135 degree split point tip for self-centering and reducing thrust. Compared to a conventional 118 degree tip, these drills wont go "walking" on you.

Cobalt Drills are manufactured to Aerospace Standard 907 and display high red hardness, permitting speeds up to 30% greater than with conventional M2 high speed steel.

3 Flute Drills

 These drills are for use on difficult steels and alloys, other difficult materials, and for core drilling or opening out existing holes. Three flute drills will directly penetrate hard tough steels and other materials. Entry is particularly accurate and no centering is required.
